OptiSpan [CommVault Systems Inc]

Allows data that has been backed up to optical platters to be moved totape and remain available to users near-line. The NAS database tracksfiles as they are moved between media. When a request is received for amoved file, the database will interpret the request, determine where thefile resides, and pass the request on to the proper handling agent.
